On Thursday, March 22, 2012, the Austin American Statesman published an article titled Austin leads nation in job creation since 2004, data show. This article emphasizes the expanding employment in Austin and how the capitol ranks No.1 among the nation’s 50 largest metro areas in job growth over the past eight years. GACC (The Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce) has recruited a large amount of companies to the metro area in the past mentioned years; Businessman Gary Farmer said the area’s job growth did not just happen by accident. Other institutions like Opportunity Austin are putting in effort to expand business recruit and retention work for the Austin area, even states such as California continue still in recruiting businesses in Austin’s work ground. Apple Inc showed a proposal of 3,600 new jobs in town. This is article is very interesting and easy to read and it has a lot of data, the job growth in Texas capitol is amazingly good and well explain in the article, I suggest people to read good news about our Weird Austin.
